Fire resistance

Turn off the stove completely after cooking.

Do not dry wet clothes on the stove.

At least 15 minutes before lighting the gas stove, open all windows/doors in the kitchen for ventilation.

Hold the match stick before turning on the gas key.

Replace the gas stove hosepipe if it is cracked/damaged.

Regularly check the electrical lines of the house every 06 months.

Use proper quality electrical cords/tools.

Keep unused electrical equipment isolated from mains.

Replace damaged/defective electrical cables/equipment.

Take necessary measures to prevent house/institution fire.

Keep the required number of fire-extinguishers in stock according to the fire hazard.

Get training on the application and use of fire extinguishers.
